Usage statistics

To understand which icons and pages people find useful, we collect aggregate usage statistics — things like page views, downloads and general performance metrics — with the help of third-party measurement services that process this data on our behalf. These statistics are anonymous and aggregated; we do not build profiles of individual visitors.

If you are visiting from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, measurement runs in cookieless mode by default: no cookies are set, no identifiers are stored on your device, and only anonymous, aggregated signals are sent. Instead, you may see a small popup — "Help make Softicons better" — asking whether we may set one small cookie. If you accept, a first-party cookie is set so that page views and sessions can be counted more accurately. Outside those regions, this cookie may be set by default.

Your answer to the popup is remembered in your browser's local storage (not a cookie), and you can change your mind at any time via manage your cookie choice — declining also removes any measurement cookies that were already set. Storage for advertising purposes is switched off everywhere, and we never use usage data to follow you across other websites.
